About this event
Blackbriar, a Dutch band formed in 2012, comes to Zappa Barka in Belgrade with its blend of gothic and symphonic metal. The group first gained wider attention with the single "Until Eternity" and has since built a following on the European scene.
Led by Zora Cock, with songwriting support from René Boxem, Bart Winters and Frank Akkerman, Blackbriar explores themes of love, death and mysticism. Their live shows are shaped as immersive performances for their fan community, known as "Thorns", bringing together dark atmosphere, symphonic arrangements and a heavier sound.
