About this event
At this workshop, children will look at inscriptions and dedications found in books, letters and notes preserved at Muzej Vuka i Dositeja, learning how people once left messages for one another.
They will then be introduced to the idea of the memory book and the story behind Mina Karadžić’s album, where her acquaintances wrote entries and, in some cases, poems. Inspired by Mina’s story, each participant will make a personal memory book, exchange it with other participants during the workshop, and fill it with messages, thoughts and drawings. At the end, they will take it home as a keepsake of new encounters and the words others have left for them.
The workshop is part of Family Day at Muzej Vuka i Dositeja. It is intended for children aged 9 to 12 and takes place on Saturday, 26 September, starting at 13:00. Registration is required at radionice@narodnimuzej.rs and is valid only after a reply confirming that the application has been recorded.
