The London collective Dub Pistols, led by Barry Ashworth and Jason O’Brien, comes back to Belgrade 16 years after its last visit. Active since the mid-1990s, the group has built a reputation through constant touring and appearances at major events including Glastonbury and Boomtown.
Their music combines dub with hip-hop, jungle and punk elements, and tracks such as “Cyclone,” “Problem Is” and “Mucky Weekend” became widely known in club settings. The band also contributed music associated with video games including FIFA 99 and Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2, and has worked with artists such as Terry Hall and Horace Andy.
