DESCRIPTION:“Reci: SkulptUra” is presented in the garden of MAU - Muz
 ej afričke umetnosti as a companion program to the exhibition “Reci: 
 Art - Otpad kao resurs”\, curated by Ivana Vojt. The wider exhibition 
 looks at recycled everyday objects\, souvenirs and jewellery from sub-Sa
 haran Africa\, while this program offers a local artistic perspective on
  waste\, reuse and environmental responsibility.\n\nThe participating ar
 tists are Marko Blanuša\, Petar Božović and Damjan Božović\, gradua
 tes of the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade. Their installations use 
 used packaging from everyday food products\, including brands such as Za
 čin C\, C supe\, THOMY majonez and Garden Gourmet\, turning discarded m
 aterial into sculpture. The project was supported by Nestlé Srbija as p
 art of its focus on circularity and sustainable development.

 xhibition brings together the work of Radomir Damnjanović Damnjan with 
 the artistic positions associated with the Zagreb group Gorgona. The cur
 atorial focus is on the development of conceptual art and the continuity
  of avant-garde practice in the region.\n\nDamnjan is presented as a maj
 or figure of the post-war Yugoslav and European avant-garde\, whose prac
 tice moved across painting\, minimalism\, performance and video art. The
  exhibition also points to his connections with Gorgona in the 1970s\, p
 lacing his work in dialogue with figures such as Josip Vaništa and Juli
 je Knifer.\n\nThe exhibition forms part of the opening edition of the Ek
 ata festival\, conceived as a meeting point of conceptual art and live s
