DESCRIPTION:This multimedia exhibition follows the history of the Distric
 t from the founding of the factory through wartime periods\, the NATO bo
 mbing and the era of the European Capital of Culture. The presentation i
 s arranged in six separate rooms\, each dedicated to a different period 
 and designed as an installation that visitors experience through movemen
 t\, interaction and the senses. Rather than a conventional archival disp
 lay\, the exhibition uses artistic and scenic design methods to interpre
 t memory\, change\, loss\, progress\, hope and everyday life in the spac

SUMMARY:Continuity of Conceptual Practice: Radomir Damnjanović Damnjan a
 nd Gorgona
DESCRIPTION:Held in the Ekata gallery at Ekata Estate in Krnjevo\, this e
 xhibition brings together the work of Radomir Damnjanović Damnjan with 
 the artistic positions associated with the Zagreb group Gorgona. The cur
 atorial focus is on the development of conceptual art and the continuity
  of avant-garde practice in the region.\n\nDamnjan is presented as a maj
 or figure of the post-war Yugoslav and European avant-garde\, whose prac
 tice moved across painting\, minimalism\, performance and video art. The
  exhibition also points to his connections with Gorgona in the 1970s\, p
 lacing his work in dialogue with figures such as Josip Vaništa and Juli
 je Knifer.\n\nThe exhibition forms part of the opening edition of the Ek
 ata festival\, conceived as a meeting point of conceptual art and live s
 ound in the brutalist complex in Krnjevo.

SUMMARY:Exhibition “Art in the Service of Faith: The Splendour and Glor
 y of the Metropolitanate of Karlovci”
DESCRIPTION:Presented by Galerija Matice srpske\, this exhibition commemo
 rates three centuries since the establishment of the Metropolitanate of 
 Karlovci and two centuries since the founding of Matica srpska. The disp
 lay traces the development of Serbian church art over two hundred years 
 through iconostases\, wall paintings\, portraits and prints\, with selec
 ted works from major museums and eparchies in Serbia\, the region and Eu
 rope. Visitors can also explore multimedia सामग्री\, a sho
 rt documentary film and a family guide for younger audiences. Public pro
 grammes are held on Fridays\, with curator-led tours on weekends\, and t
 he exhibition remains open until 27 September 2026.
