The nineteenth To Be Punk festival will take place at SKCNS Fabrika on Friday and Saturday, 13 and 14 November 2026, organized by the Students' Cultural Centre Novi Sad. Over the two festival days, bands from the regional and European punk and hardcore scene will perform, and the programme also includes the photo exhibition “In the Pit” by Alison Braun, an acclaimed American punk rock photographer born and raised in Los Angeles. During her career, she has documented countless punk concerts, festivals and events, and her work is considered a valuable historical record of the punk and heavy metal movements.
This year’s line-up includes the French street punk band Breakout and Germany’s Collaps, who play a mix of d-beat, raw punk, hardcore and Oi!. From the Netherlands come Hometown Crew, a youth crew/hardcore band, and their compatriots Krime, whose sound recalls the mid-1980s: fierce punk with a hardcore rhythm and guitar parts in the style of Motörhead.
From Croatia come Loš primjer, Pasja kola and Razlog za. Loš primjer is one of the longest-running punk bands on the Croatian scene, known for an energetic and melodic sound with pronounced metal sections. Pasja kola are, as they describe themselves, a “d-beat four-piece from Zagreb that loves life, loves people, and wants good for them. It plays punk, plays punk, plays punk.” Also appearing is Razlog za, a cult regional hardcore punk band from Kutina that returned to the scene after a break of more than 20 years and will perform in Novi Sad for the first time.
Serbia will be represented by two young bands: Manitu, formed in 2021 in Niš, whose sound draws on punk, garage rock’n’roll and hardcore, and NiKola, a four-member melodic punk band from Bečej formed out of the friendship of its members. Also coming are Norms from Budapest, a classic five-piece DIY hardcore band, and Noviot početok, one of the best-known Macedonian punk bands. From Genoa, Stiglitz will also perform at the TBP festival; its songs have become recognisable on the Italian punk scene and part of the repertoire of new generations of listeners.
On both evenings, the box office and the doors of Fabrika will open at 19:30, and band performances will begin at 20:00. The photo exhibition will open on the first day of the festival, Friday 13 November, at 18:00 in the SKCNS Grand Gallery (Vladimira Perića Valtera 5), and the exhibition will remain on view until 20 November. Admission to the exhibition is free.
