About this event
“Reci: SkulptUra” is presented in the garden of MAU - Muzej afričke umetnosti as a companion program to the exhibition “Reci: Art - Otpad kao resurs”, curated by Ivana Vojt. The wider exhibition looks at recycled everyday objects, souvenirs and jewellery from sub-Saharan Africa, while this program offers a local artistic perspective on waste, reuse and environmental responsibility.
The participating artists are Marko Blanuša, Petar Božović and Damjan Božović, graduates of the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade. Their installations use used packaging from everyday food products, including brands such as Začin C, C supe, THOMY majonez and Garden Gourmet, turning discarded material into sculpture. The project was supported by Nestlé Srbija as part of its focus on circularity and sustainable development.
