About this event
Ložionica hosts the first Belgrade performance by Spanish duo Mestiza on 2 October at 23:00. The event marks the close of the open-air summer season with audio-visual production and a programme spanning afro house, progressive and contemporary electronic sounds.
Mestiza are Pitty Bernad and Belah. Their work brings together flamenco influences, electronic music, afro and organic house, and melodic techno, while the visual concept draws on Andalusian tradition and contemporary fashion. Their debut album Quëreles reached the upper end of Spain’s best-selling vinyl charts, and their recent profile includes Ibiza residencies and appearances across Europe.
Support comes from Divolly & Markward, a well-known regional afro house duo whose releases have appeared on labels including Make The Girls Dance, along with live duo Talaz, whose sets feature flute, electronic drums and percussion. The lineup is completed by Neni, Rossa and Flo.
