About this event
This guided tour of the exhibition “Dialogue on the Nude: Bodies That Mean Something” is conceived as a conversation about how the nude has been shaped, sustained, challenged and redefined in visual culture and within institutions.
The focus will include questions of who is looking, who is being looked at, and whether other ways of seeing and presenting the body can be found. The curators will also outline the theoretical approaches behind the exhibition, not as fixed interpretations but as starting points for further thought. Visitors are invited to share their observations, doubts and disagreements, with room for discomfort and resistance as well as enjoyment.
The tour will be led by curators Jasmina Cukić and Marija S. Đorđević at the Memorial Museum of Nadežda and Rastko Petrović on Saturday, 14 November at 18:00. Admission is free and no advance registration is required.
