About this event
This conversation takes place at Narodni muzej Srbije on Saturday, 21 November at 18:00. Using the museum’s collection of 18th- and 19th-century Serbian painting as a starting point, the exhibition Race Against the Machine considers how artworks, museum objects and algorithms relate to one another.
The discussion will look at what computer analysis can reveal about an art collection, where its limits lie, and how patterns in painting can—or cannot—be identified and repeated. It also opens broader questions about creativity and the meaning of artistic creation in the age of generative artificial intelligence.
The programme is free, and no prior registration is needed.
