About this event
This exhibition looks at the group of 21 artists who, within the Museum of the City of Novi Sad in 1963, helped establish the city’s first museum-based collection dedicated to contemporary art. Their works became the initial core of the Gallery, and the presentation highlights their importance in the development of Novi Sad’s cultural life. It also places these beginnings in the wider context of the Museum’s collecting and preservation of fine and applied arts.
