About this event
Likovni salon KCNS presents a solo exhibition of drawings by Mario Ignjić. Created between 2021 and 2024, the large- and medium-format works use technical pens and ink on paper.
The exhibition explores darker aspects of human nature, biological fragility, and the relationship between people, nature, and machines. Dense linear structures evoke human tissue and cardiovascular anatomy, intertwined with imagery associated with contemporary computer systems, pointing to a meeting place between organic life and technological order.
Ignjić graduated in 2010 from the Academy of Arts in Banja Luka, Department of Printmaking, in the class of Professor Zoran Banović. The exhibition is open until 31 July.
