About this event
Tamburica Fest began in Deronje and was later moved to Novi Sad. The festival takes place at Petrovaradin Fortress and in Novi Sad, with a focus on promoting tambura music and the tambura as an instrument.
Each year, orchestras from Serbia and other countries perform as part of the festival, including a competitive program for the best orchestra. Vocal soloists from around the world also take part in the selection for the best original Tamburica Fest song.
