About this event
Prosefest is an international prose literature festival in Novi Sad, founded in 2007. Its concept centres on direct contact between writers and readers through public readings and open conversations.
During the festival, prominent Serbian and international authors present their work in public spaces. The programme also has a strong educational component, with participating writers visiting Novi Sad high schools and faculties to speak with pupils and students about contemporary prose.
An important part of the festival is the presentation of the International Literary Award “Milovan Vidaković”. The event takes place at Kulturni centar Novog Sada, and admission is free.
