Katarina Drenjanin explores intimacy and personal identity through everyday objects understood as carriers of memory. Drawers, wardrobes and chests appear in her work as repositories of personal and family experience.
Through spatial installations and watercolours, the exhibition reflects on what we call home and on the need for shelter in a time marked by superficial communication. The works connect deeply individual experience with broader questions of transience, belonging and the traces of time embedded in objects we use every day.
Drenjanin approaches these items as “object-subjects,” treating them as bearers of psychological life, memory and lived experience, where the intimate becomes a space for communication with others.
